How I Learned

The people around you affect what you achieve and how you achieve it. There's smart people that care about your success and then there's the other people who don't care. People can influence you to do good, and do better. They can also talk in your ear and tell you none of that matters. Yourself, your mind, the way you feel will also have an effect your success in life. If you have no motivation, how are you going to succeed. If your mindset isn't right how are you going to succeed. Setting a routine for yourself can help with your success. Setting reminders to do stuff you know you will forget to do will help. That's how I'm learning.

Earth on Turtle’s Back

Stories aren’t just telling you a story. There’s meaning behind them. There’s like a hidden message in them. The story “Earth on Turtle’s Back” has some explanation and some meaning. It’s a representation of how life on Earth began. There’s examples like the women stepping down, opening her hand, letting the seeds fall onto soil and that's how trees and grass were created. But we know it wasn't created by seeds. people sometimes say stories with meaning behind them to spread a message or teach a lesson.

Are You Entitled To Your Own Opinion?

Everyone has opinions. Everyone has thoughts and they believe what they want. That means that no one can stop you from thinking and saying what you want. Opinions are very double sided. They can either be hurtful or helpful. You either value them or you hate them. In my opinion, I believe everyone can say what they want. Opinions are something that you can learn from or you can ignore it and go on.

Richard Cory

Richard Cory seemed like such a happy person, but only on the outside. Nobody knows what's going on inside your mind unless you tell them. He for sure kept his thoughts and feeling to himself and portrayed himself to be a content person. Sometimes people hide their feeling in order to not be judged. Richard Cory must've been going through a really tough time, but didn't want people to feel sorry for him. The author of this poem wrote it because he wants to have the chance to relate to others. He wants to spread a message to people going through a hard time that they aren't alone. Never judge a person because you never know what they're going through.
